Meat

Beef is an excellent source of the vital protein we all need in our diets. At the Jujube farm, we follow a system of farming that means the meat we sell is nutritious, yes, but it's also as pure as it gets. Our cattle are fed predominantly on grass – be that fresh pasture in the summer or meadow hay in the winter. So we trust nature. Because we're organic, we don't spray or spread weedkillers or fertilizers onto our fields, so you can be certain that when you eat beef from Coombe Farm it has no chemical taint or trace.

Vegatables

We grow everything from common vegetables such as beetroot, pumpkin and courgettes (though we’d always like to think we have a variety you haven’t tried before) to more unusual crops such as agretti or monk’s beard, a crunchy, succulent leaf with a mild, salty flavour. All are delicious and we rarely think of them as mere side dishes, preferring instead to elevate them to the starring role.

Eggs

All our eggs are organically farmed to Soil Association standards and packed on the farm. The eggs are graded by weight into medium, large or extra large then sold directly to the consumer within days of being laid. The hens are an integral part of our organic holistic farming practice. We believe that by putting our hens needs first and ensuring the highest standards of welfare, they in return produce the best quality eggs and fertilise the land.

Fruits

We grow over 450 varieties of fruit including peaches, nectarines, plums, apricots, tamarillo, pomegranate, persimmon, figs, pepino, feijoa, guava, kiwi fruit, dutch medlar and various citrus throughout the year. We sell a large range of fruit products including: Jams, chutneys, bottled fruit, dried fruit, pure fruit juices, fruit leathers, fruit pies and seasonal fresh fruit. All made on site and from our own orchard.
